Youth

he River’s Edge student ministry at River Road Church, Baptist is a place for middle and high school students (grades 6-12) to build meaningful relationships, engage in thought provoking worship and Bible study, learn tools for personal spiritual formation and cultivate a lifestyle of service through missions. It is our desire to see students draw near to Jesus Christ and in doing so discover their own potential to make a difference in the world.

Parent Involvement
Involved parents are what make the youth ministry at River Road Church, Baptist run! If you are looking for a place to plug in you don’t need to look far. Want to spend time with the students in a fellowship setting? Sign up to bring snack supper one Sunday night or to chaperone a scavenger hunt. If you are really ambitious, chaperone a retreat or a summer trip! If you are very interested in providing vision, leadership, and direction for the youth ministry, ask about serving on the youth subcommittee of the Board of Christian Education.
