This year we are trying something new and exciting with the students. Disciple Now is a church-based retreat that involves the efforts of the entire church family! Middle and high school students will join together for worship and teaching at River Road Church, Baptist on Friday night after which they will be sent in small groups to stay in the homes of church members. Each small group will also have a college or young adult small group leader who will facilitate group building activities, discussion and Bible study. We will regroup at the church on Saturday morning for worship and then the students will head out into the community and do a variety of mission projects. Saturday night we will gather one last time for worship at the church and the students will head back to their host homes to debrief the weekend with their small group leaders. Sunday morning the students all come to church together and enjoy breakfast at the church before Sunday school. Disciple Now provides the unique opportunity for students to build community, engage in worship, and serve the local community. This is a weekend you won’t want to miss.

Volunteer Needs
- Host a group of students in your home
- Provide a “snack bag” for a small group (Paper bag filled with sodas)
- Lead a small group (college students & young adults)
- Take dinner to one of the small group homes (Saturday night)
- Drive students to and from their host homes
- Take students to mission projects (and stay with them)
- Serve lunch on Saturday
